heated bucket

heated bucket
Image Description

If you live in a region that has freezing temperatures you will need a way to heat the alpacas drinking water. Heated water buckets are a convenient and relatively inexpensive way to do this. The heating element is covered and hidden in the bottom of the bucket, keeping it more protected and less likely to get damaged. The water buckets should be hung and affixed to a sturdy wall or fixture. They should be centrally located and at a height that is accessible to young alpacas. These heated water buckets will serve you through all the seasons by simply unplugging them and tucking away the cord during the warmer weather. All water buckets should be hung away from direct sunlight so that it stays cool in the summer.
