After leaving Pasture A, we all go into Pasture B where the youngsters live. These are the alpacas that have been weaned from mom, but are too young to go in with the adult boys or girls. Here the students are introduced to Asgaard, a very handsome year old white huacaya boy. The students listen as Hazen, one of the HaSu owners, shows them an alpaca up close and tells them about handling and working around alpacas. Now if you ask any Milford student they would tell you that alpacas have no upper teeth, they have soft padded feet with 2 toe with toenails. And they would also be able to tell you that Asgaard is particularly soft and friendly. Although, he does not like people sneaking up behind him!
