THANK YOU & CONGRATULATIONS TO NORTHWEST ALPACAS (Hillsboro, OR)
for
the purchase of this lovely bred female.
Tessa is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo light fawn out of Peruvian Accoyo Felix, one of the most highly recognized Accoyo sires in the country. Like her sire, Tessa has an extraordinarily dense, uniform crimpy fleece considered fine for a colored animal. She has a terrifc profile and perfect conformation. We prefer larger animals, and Tessa fit that requirement. Chosen for her color and the color genetics she carries from Felix, her size, and for her fleece characteristics, she turned out to be a great mom--good milk and very quick to bond with her cria. All of Tessa's cria have been stunning. Her first cria at HaSu Ranch, Chacoan has amazing fleece, 15 MC at 1 year. He won the Best Brightness and Best Handle Fleece award at the '04 Empire Extravaganza. He is now standing stud at Rancho Cerritos in NY. She is to be bred this Summer to studmaster MSA Cannonero, a dark fawn color champion who produces champions. We expect a colored cria with extreme density and fineness.
