Nokomis is a super fine light fawn from a mating between Studmaster male El Toro and Serafina. She exhibits a very bright and crimpy fleece, on a beautifully proportioned frame. These are traits of both the El Toro and Hemingway line progeny. El Toro's cria tend to be larger than average; yet still maintaining style and grace. Combine this with Serafina, a very tall, solid dam, and you get Nokomis, a large girl of good bone and balanced, squared frame. Serafina is such a great milker, that at just 4 months old, Nokomis was big enough to be weaned. This early separation proved to be no issue. She continued her speedy growth, in body and in fleece and has an amazing staple length. At less than 8 months old, and after having been shorn at 2 months of age, she still had over 5 inches of fleece on her back. She is being bred to MFI Peruvian Donovan, the highly decorated son of Accoyo Peruvian Augusto. We expect nothing short of fantastic from this pairing of 2 exceptionally fine crimpy fawn alpacas.
