And as you can see, he's very well covered. His excellence is not by chance though. He descends from alpaca royalty, carrying genes that made superstars out of his ancestors. I-Khan's sire is none other than The Aga Khan, 11 x champ and 2nd highest selling male ever at '08 The Futurity. This quintessential white male can boast Accoyos Vengador and Allin Capac as grand sires, and he can claim legendary Accoyo Shere Khan as great grand sire.
These relatives are all quite amazing, but to up the ante, on his maternal side I-Khan has Studmasters K-2 and Hemingway, both males with astounding EPD's for fineness and density. K-2 gained fame for producing cria that carry dense fine fleeces that exhibit bundling and high uniformity. And Hemingway is in a class by himself with nearly 500 cria on the ground, and a proven record for prepotent elite genes. With these ingredients, it is no wonder our I-Khan stands as an icon for alpaca perfection.
